Lyn is a rising senior majoring in Economics and minoring in History of Art. As the co-president, she will focus on the collaboration with startups, outreach VCs and host industry focused events/ conferences. This summer, she will work in a boutique investment banking in New York specializing in knowledge economy M&A. She loves dancing and visiting art galleries. She is so excited for the incoming fall to co-work with everyone in MVC!
Morgan is a rising junior studying Economics and Communications. As a Co-President, she will take charge in overseeing the PR, Operations, Education, and Event teams. This summer, she is working at a VC firm in Chicago specializing in real estate technology. In her free time, she loves to travel and is part of Outrage Dance Company here on campus. She is so excited for what is to come for MVC in the fall!
Leah is a junior studying Econ and Cognitive Science. Leah will serve as the co-president of Michigan Venture Club next semester. With rich experience in Ventures and business, she will lead the research team and maintain strong connections with investors and entrepreneurs, empowering all club members and our partners. She is now interning at a Venture Capital firm in Shanghai. Leah enjoys Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Kendo and being outdoors.
Max is a senior in Business and CS. With a focus on fintech startups, he has been fortunate to provide valuable guidance and advisory services to early-stage companies. Currently, his expertise lies in the exciting realms of mobile development, artificial intelligence, and e-commerce. He also had the privilege of co-founding a B2B marketplace that successfully secured series A funding.
Nora is a senior studying Statistics, Information Science, and Entrepreneurship. With over 2 years of internship experience in the Venture Capital and Private Equity sector, she has acquired invaluable insights. In 2022, she took the initiative to establish the university's first international Venture Capital and Entrepreneurship club, with over 100 active members. Next year, Nora will be serving as an advisor for the club, focusing primarily on creating impact.
John is a senior studying Math, Statistics and Data Science. His experiences cover equity research, VC, and angel investment. He worked as an intern at a top-tier investment firm in Asia for a year, focusing on FMCG industry and has been involved in dozens of projects and investment decisions. One of his personal portfolio is about to go through IPO process soon. Currently John works as an intern for a VC firm in the bay area.
Lily's interest in VC was sparked during her time as the founder of Juso, a summer research academy that connected Ivy League professors with high school students. While running her startup, Lily was introduced to the finance industry and it piqued her curiosity about venture capital. Currently, Lily is a summer analyst at eLab Ventures, where she focuses on seed round investments in the Al sector. Looking ahead, Lily will be an investment banking summer analvst at Evercore Partners for the upcoming summer.
Ingrid is a rising Junior studying Honors Mathematics. As a Vice President, she will take charge in the Public Relation team. This summer, she is working at a consulting firm in Shanghai specializing in Life Sciences. In her free time, she loves traveling and baking! She is so excited to meet everyone in MVC in fall!
Yuxuan is an enthusiastic undergraduate student majoring in Economics and Mathematics Science. Through his internships in Investment Banking and Asset Management, he has had the opportunity to support the preparation of pitchbooks, presentations, and collaborate on due diligence and deal execution. With a strong background in market research and competitive analysis, he is eager to contribute his analytical skills and industry knowledge to the club, and he is excited to be part of its success.
Anyang Li is currently pursuing a Master's in Data Science and Machine Learning at the University of Michigan, building on a Math and CS background from NYU. With hands-on experience as a software engineer and data analyst at leading companies like China Telecom and ByteDance, Anyang has honed their skills in full-stack development. As the Vice President of IT at Michigan Venture Club, Anyang brings their technical expertise, analytical capabilities, and leadership skills to the forefront.
