As part of our Silicon Valley trip, visited some of the most influential venture capital firms and accelerators driving innovation worldwide.
Our stops include Y Combinator, Plug and Play Tech Center, Norwest Venture Partners, Reach Capital, Susa Ventures, DNX Ventures, and BlueRun Ventures. These firms are known for backing visionary founders and shaping the future across industries—from early-stage incubation to global scale. This experience will give us firsthand insight into how top investors evaluate startups, build partnerships, and fuel entrepreneurial growth.

NYC VENTURE TREK

Our inaugural trek to New York City during Spring Break was a massive success! We gained valuable insight into the roles, responsibilities, and lifestyles that the venture capital industry has to offer in the city. Through office tours, networking, and engaging discussions, our members acquired a deeper understanding of each firm's niches, specialties, and opportunities.

CHICAGO VENTURE RETREAT
During fall break 2024, Michigan Venture Club completed its annual retreat to Chicago. We received a pitch workshop at P33 Technology & Innovation Hub and visited many other firms, including Drive Capital, Chingona Ventures, Sandbox Industries, The Blue Venture Fund, and the Dorm Room Fund. We also reconnected with alumni Nora Huang and Max Walts at dinner! This was a great learning and networking opportunity for all the members that attended.

CHICAGO VENTURE TREK
Michigan Venture Club embarked on an illuminating journey into the dynamic world of venture capital and entrepreneurship. Over two enriching days, we had the privilege of connecting with some of the brightest minds in the industry, gaining invaluable insights, and forging meaningful connections.
